Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage was seen crying during her performance at the WeLovEya Festival in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
The two-day festival, held at Amazon Square, featured performances from some of Africa’s top artists, including Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido.
During her set, Savage performed her 2021 hit “Somebody’s Son”, featuring American singer Brandy.
The song reflects her longing for true love and emotional connection. While singing solo, the 45-year-old artist became visibly emotional and struggled to continue.

Savage was previously married to Tunji ‘TeeBillz’ Balogun in 2013, with whom she has a son, Jamal, born in 2015.
The couple divorced in 2018.
