ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – An ENT/Head and Neck Surgeon, Dr. Adefolaseye Adebayo has appealed to voter in Surulere 1 Constituency for their support as she seeks to contribute to the emergence of a “New Nigeria” through public service.
Adebayo made the appeal in a statement posted on her X handle @DrFolaseye on Wednesday, where she urged residents of the constituency to vote for her, promising to bring the values of compassion, empathy, dignity and service to humanity into governance.
She said her experience as a medical practitioner, particularly caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives, had deepened her understanding of the importance of compassionate and responsible leadership.
“As an ENT/Head & Neck Surgeon, I have had the privilege of caring for people at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives,” she said.
“Through this experience, I have come to understand the value of compassion, empathy, dignity, and service to humanity.”
Adebayo assured the people of Surulere 1 that she would not take their trust for granted or misuse the opportunity to represent them if elected.
According to her, the same principles that have guided her medical career would shape her approach to public service.
“I will bring these values to public service. I will not take your trust for granted or misuse the opportunity to represent the good people of Surulere 1,” she stated.
She called on residents to join her in building a better Surulere and contributing to a Nigeria where every citizen would be valued and given the opportunity to thrive.
“Together, let us build a better Surulere and contribute to a New Nigeria where every citizen matters,” Adebayo said.
She concluded by urging the electorate to support her candidacy, saying their collective effort could make a difference in the constituency and the country at large.
“Please vote for me. Let us make a difference together!” she appealed.
