Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Saturday confirmed 113 new cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria.
The health agency in a report released via it’s twitter handle, said the fresh cases were recorded from the following states (including the FCT):
Lagos-53; Rivers-22; Akwa Ibom and Kaduna-12 each; Ondo-6; Osun-3; FCT-2; Jigawa, Nasarawa and Kano-1 each.
The NCDC said the new cases brought the total confirmed cases to 162,388 out of which 149,986 were treated and discharged.
It added that 2,039 lives were lost to COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported in February 27 last year.
