ABUJA FCT – Deputy Speaker of the 10th National Assembly, Hon Benjamin Kalu has congratulated Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun on her appointment as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
Releasing his goodwill message in a statement via his official X account on Saturday, expressed confident that Justice Kekere-Ekun will influence key legal reforms that will have positive impact on the entire justice ecosystem and enhance the effectiveness of our judicial system.
Adding that as the chairman, House Committee on Constitutional Review, they will work together to achieve the desired judicial reforms that will ultimately depeen democratic practice and rule of law in Nigeria.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Justice Kudirat Motonmori Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun on her appointment as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) on Friday.
Given her impeccable track record, I am confident that Justice Kekere-Ekun will influence key legal reforms that will have positive impact on the entire justice ecosystem and enhance the effectiveness of our judicial system.
As the chairman, House Committee on Constitutional Review, we will work together to achieve the desired judicial reforms that will ultimately depeen democratic practice and rule of law in Nigeria.
I wish the Acting CJN a successful tenure and encourage her to uphold the principles of fairness and justice as she undertakes this critical national responsibility.
