Boat Mishap That Claims 40 Passengers Casts Pall of Sorrow on Us – Atiku

ABUJA FCT – The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25, 2023 general election and the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the Sunday boat mishap in Zamfara that claimed the lives of over 40 passengers, saying it casts a pall of sorrow upon us all.

Atiku who took to his verified X account to express his sadness in a statement, said his heart goes out to the victims and their bereaved families, whose suffering is especially poignant. He also extended his deepest sympathies to the Zamfara State government, adding that this grievous event is a profound loss to the entire community.

The tragic boat mishap that claimed the lives of over 40 passengers in Zamfara this past Sunday casts a pall of sorrow upon us all.
