Ali Bukar Dalori, the newly appointed Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially arrived in Abuja to resume duties at the party’s national secretariat.
Dalori assumed the role following the resignation of former chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, who stepped down on Friday citing health-related reasons. However, his resignation has sparked widespread speculation, with some insiders suggesting he was pressured to vacate the position due to internal party dynamics.
Prior to his elevation, Dalori served as the APC’s National Vice Chairman (North) and is a prominent political figure from Borno State in Nigeria’s North-East region.
His appointment marks a significant leadership transition for the ruling party as it positions itself ahead of the 2027 general elections.
