COVID-19: Death Toll Now 1,116 as NCDC Confirms 179 New Cases

Abuja (Precise Post) – The death toll arising from COVID-19 complications in in Nigeria has risen to 1,116 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed 179 new cases on Wednesday.

According to the report released by the health agency via it’s twitter handle, the 179 new cases were recorded from thirteen states as follows:

FCT-9
Oyo-9
Rivers-9
Delta-3
Nasarawa-3
Edo-2
Kaduna-2
Ogun-2
Plateau-2
Ekiti-1
Osun-1

The newly reported cases brought the total confirmed cases to 60,834 out of which 52,143 patients have been treated and discharged.
