Abuja (Precise Post) – The Federal Capital Territory Saturday led the COVID-19 chart with 128 infections as Nigeria confirmed 310 new cases, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said.
The report released via it’s twitter handle said that Lagos State came second with 86 cases followed by Kaduna with 26.
Others are: Katsina-20; Rivers-19; Oyo-7;
Benue, Edo, Jigawa and Ogun recorded 5 each while Bayelsa and Kano recorded two cases each.
This brought total confirmed cases to 68,937 out of which 64,650 patients have been treated and discharged across various treatment centers in Nigeria.
The health agency further disclosed that
1,180 lives have been lost to the COVID-19 related complications since the index case in February 27, 2020.
