Abuja (Precise Post) – Nigeria Centre for Disease Control Sunday said it has confirmed 300 fresh cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The fresh cases were recorded from 6 states including the FCT, the report released via NCDC’s twitter handle said.
Lagos State , the epicentre of COVID-19 infection in Nigeria accounted for 255 of these new cases.
Others are ; FCT-27; Oyo-10; Kaduna-5; Ondo-2
and Kano-1.
According to the report, the total confirmed cases have risen 64,090 out of which 59,910 have been discharged.
It further revealed that 1,154 lives have been lost since the index case in February 27, 2020.
