Abuja (Precise Post) – The Center for Disease Control said that Nigeria has recorded 360 new cases of COVID-19, with Lagos leading the table with 120 fresh infections.
Edo, Kaduna and FCT jointly with Imo State, came second third and fourth with 38 cases, 25 cases and 23 cases each respectively.
Other states where infections were reported, according to the report released via NCDC twitter handle are ; Delta-19; Akwa Ibom and
Plateau-17, Rivers-16; Nasarawa-15; Kwara-13;
Oyo-9; Ogun-8; Bauchi and Osun-4 each; Kano and Kebbi-3 each; Niger-2 and Katsina-1.
The health agency reported that the fresh cases brought the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 to 156,017 out of which 133,904 patients have been treated and discharged from across various isolation facilities in Nigeria.
The NCDC reported regrettably that 1,915 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related ailments since the index case was reported in February 27 in Nigeria.
