Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said 86 fresh cases of #COVID-19 were recorded from six states and the Feferal Capital Territoruy on Sunday in Nigeria.
In the report released via it’s twitter handle account, the health agency listed the states and their corresponding cases as:
FCT-33; Lagos-28; Ondo-11; Kano-7; Akwa Ibom and Rivers-3 each and Kaduna-1.
According to the report, total confirmed cases have risen to 161,737 out of which 147,899 patients have been treated and discharged from various isolation facilities in the country.
The health agency also reported that 2,030 lives have been lost to the COVID-19 related complications since the index case was recorded in Nigeria on the 27th of February 2020.
