Abuja (Precise Post) – Ahead of his assumption of office on 20th January, the United States President-elect, Joe Biden has assured Americans that brighter days are coming despite the tough period ocassion by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Biden who acknowledged that the next few weeks and months are going to be a very tough period for America as a nation, gave the message of hope when he took to his twitter handle and also reminded that it’s going to take all the grit and determination as Americans to do it.
“The next few weeks and months are going to be a very tough period for our nation — maybe the toughest of the whole pandemic.
“But we are going to get through it. Brighter days are coming, but it’s going to take all the grit and determination we have as Americans to do it.
Precise Post recalls that apart from the United States being one of the worst hit countries by COVID-19 pandemic, the incumbent President, Donald Trump is yet to come to terms that his tenure will wind up in the next twenty days and has refused to initiate a smooth transition process.
Trump has described the November 3 election won by Joe Biden as the worst electoral fraud in the history of U.S. democracy.
