Abuja (Precise Post) – The COVID-19 report released on Monday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has it that 417 fresh cases have been recorded, bringing total confirmed cases in the country to 49,485.
It noted that 36,834 COVID-19 patients have been treated and discharged after their tests returned negative and that 977 others have died of complications relating to the novel virus since the index case in Fecruary 27, 2020 in Nigeria.
The report released via the agency’s twitter handle stated the these fresh cases were recorded from 17 states as follows:
Lagos-207 Kaduna-44 Ondo-38 Abia-28 Anambra-21 Plateau-20 Bauchi-13 Oyo-9 Ebonyi-9 Delta-7 Edo-7 Enugu-6 Niger-3 Gombe-2 Ogun-1 FCT-1 Kano-1 49,485 confirmed 36,834 discharged 977 deaths
