ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration’s economic reforms are beginning to yield positive results, expressing confidence that the country is emerging from difficult times into a period of stability, growth, and renewed hope.
In his Eid-el-Kabir messageĺ to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world, Tinubu said the sacrifices made by citizens over the past three years had contributed to a more stable economy and improved investor confidence capable of driving job creation and economic growth.
According to the President, “the walk through the dark tunnel is over, and the light is here,” stressing that the reforms introduced by his administration, though difficult, were necessary to rebuild and reposition the country for future generations.
Tinubu described Eid-el-Kabir as a celebration that reflects the virtues of faith, obedience, sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
He urged Nigerians, irrespective of religion or ethnicity, to embrace unity, mercy, and love for one another, noting that the festival serves as a reminder of the importance of sacrifice for the greater good.
The President also called on Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace, national unity, and wisdom for leaders at all levels.
Speaking on security, Tinubu acknowledged the continued attacks by terrorists and bandits in some parts of the country despite efforts by security agencies.
He, however, assured affected communities that they had not been abandoned, reiterating his administration’s commitment to defeating criminal elements threatening national peace and stability.
The President noted that security and intelligence agencies had recently recorded successes, including the elimination of a wanted ISIS leader, adding that government would continue to intensify efforts against terrorism and banditry.
“I assure you: you are neither abandoned nor forgotten. We will ultimately defeat all the forces of evil,” he said.
Tinubu further urged Nigerians to support the less privileged during the festive period and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence across communities.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investing in security, infrastructure, agriculture, and human capital development to ensure that citizens can live peacefully and pursue their aspirations without fear.
The President wished Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration, praying that Allah would accept the sacrifices and prayers of the faithful and continue to bless Nigeria.
“Eid Mubarak! Happy Sallah!” he added.
