….As Chidi Odinkalu calls out Ikechukwu Ezeugwu for sponsoring the criminal Bill.

Abuja (Precise Post) – Former Minister of Education (a.k.a Madam Due Process) Oby Ezekwesili has condemned the contemplation of Life Pension Bill for the past governors by the Enugu State House of Assembly.
Ezekwesili who made the condemnation when she took to her twitter handle account, described the move as a broad light pillage of the public treasury.
According to the former minister, “Upon reading of the Life Pension Bill, I reached out to some leading people from Enugu State to understand how they could allow a grossly irresponsible Governor of their impoverished state to dare even imagine this condemnable broad light pillage of the public treasury.
Her tweet reads:
“Upon reading this yesterday, I spoke to a couple of leading people from Enugu State to understand how they could allow a grossly irresponsible Governor of their impoverished state to dare even imagine this condemnable broad light pillage of the public treasury. STOP IT. STOP IT!”
Similarly, former Chairman of Human Rights Commission, Prof Chidi Odinkalu has called out the member representing Udenu in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon Ikechukwu. Ezeugwu for sponsoring such a criminal bill to pay four past governors and their wives N1.25billion of the State’s money annually.
Odinkalu also called on Nigerians who need Hon Ezeugwu’s phone number for questioning to feel free and contact him for it.
His tweet reads:
“Ikechukwu Ezeugwu is leader & Dis-honorable Member representing Udenu in the Enugu State House of Assembly
“He is the “sponsor” of this criminal Bill to pay 4 men & their wives N1.25bn of the State’s money annually.
“Let’s give him #Oxygen. If u want his cel number, pls contact me.
Precise Post recalls that Enugu State House of Assembly is taking steps to pass a bill to legalise life pension for past executive governors of the state.
