ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has stepped up preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise with the donation of a 38-seater hybrid Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) bus to the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, in a move aimed at improving transportation logistics for intending pilgrims.
The Senior Special Assistant(New Media) to the Governor of Kaduna State, Abdallah Yunus Abdallah, who disclosed this on his X handle on Sunday, said
The bus, fitted with 30 strap-hangers and a total carrying capacity of 68 passengers per trip, is expected to enhance efficiency, safety, and comfort during Hajj airlift operations.
Officials say the intervention underscores the governor’s commitment to the welfare of Kaduna pilgrims and his administration’s resolve to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated pilgrimage exercise.
The donation comes on the heels of earlier infrastructural upgrades at the Hajj Camp in Mando, where the state government constructed a tarred access road and improved facilities to provide a more comfortable pre-departure experience for pilgrims.
Presenting the vehicle on behalf of the government, Malam Muhammad Sagir, Director of Operations at Kaduna Line, described the gesture as a reflection of Governor Sani’s people-oriented leadership and dedication to quality service delivery.
Receiving the bus, Malam Abubakar Usman Yusuf, Director of Operations at the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, expressed gratitude to the state government, noting that the intervention is both timely and impactful in strengthening the agency’s operational capacity.
He also praised the adoption of CNG-powered transport, describing it as consistent with global best practices in sustainability and efficient public service delivery.
