ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Group under the auspices of Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO) has congratulated former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, on his affirmation as the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general election.
In a statement issued by its National Coordinator, Hon. Ikenna Mbanefo, the group described Obi’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his commitment to good governance, transparency, accountability, economic prudence, national unity, and national development.
The coalition said Obi’s leadership qualities, integrity, competence, and dedication to public service have continued to inspire millions of Nigerians seeking a nation founded on justice, equity, and sustainable progress.
According to the group, Obi’s vision, experience, and passion for nation-building have strengthened the hopes of Nigerians yearning for a better future, expressing confidence in his ability to lead the country toward meaningful transformation.
The CPO also pledged its unwavering support for the former governor’s presidential bid, assuring him of extensive mobilization efforts across the country ahead of the 2027 election.
The coalition further prayed for wisdom, strength, good health, and divine guidance for Obi as he prepares for the presidential contest, expressing optimism that his candidacy would advance the quest for what it described as a “New Nigeria.”
