#Hardship Protest: Tinubu bows to pressure, says he “ll address Nigerians on Sunday

ABUJA FCT – Finally, President Bola Tinubu on Saturday yeilded to pressure from protesters and has said he would address Nigerians on Sunday (tomorrow) at 7:am.

Precise Post recalls that mostly all the protesters interview by journalists have maintained that they will end the protest only if the President addresses them and revert the pump price of fuel to N100 per litre.

The Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in a statement released via X account on Saturday.

The statement reads in full:

President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am.

Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.

The broadcast will be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.
