OWERRI (PRECISE POST) – IMO State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has commended Evangelist Chukwuebuka Obi for the establishment of the Zion Seraphic Orphanage and Old People’s Home in Mgbirichi, Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State, in line with his administration’s call on Imolites to bring home investments, social services, and other developmental initiatives.
Uzodimma gave the commendation on Tuesday in a statement released on his verified X account.
According to him, speaking during the commissioning ceremony of the facility, a project spearheaded by the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO), he (Uzodimma) praised the cleric for his commitment to uplifting the less privileged and bringing developmental initiatives back home.
“I have continually encouraged ndi Imo to support the transformative drive of my administration by bringing home investments, social services, and other developmental projects. It is heartening to note that our brother, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Obi, has answered this call with great purpose and passion,” Governor Uzodimma stated.
Describing the project as a model for others to emulate, he emphasized that such initiatives not only reflect the core values of the state but also provide essential services to vulnerable members of society. He urged citizens and stakeholders to support and replicate similar efforts across the state.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting homegrown initiatives that foster social welfare, while calling on other well-meaning individuals to follow Evangelist Obi’s example.
