LAGOS- Mr Wasiu Adesina, Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has presented official cars to the administrative team and bid farewell to outgoing management staffers on Wednesday.
Adesina, at the ceremony on Wednesday in Lagos, expressed gratitude to the entire local government staff for their unwavering support throughout his administration.
He stated that the vehicles were presented to boost management morale, urging beneficiaries to enhance their efforts for greater success.
He highlighted the significance of the event, combining three programmes: presenting vehicles to the management team, farewell to outgoing staff, and distributing food items to regular staff.
“We are proud to present these vehicles to our management members to serve our communities with greater ease and impact,” Adesina said.
He acknowledged the meritorious service of outgoing staff, who contributed to his administration’s achievements during his second term as council chairman.
Earlier, the Council Manager, Mr Shipe Shaanu, lauded Adesina’s remarkable achievements and infrastructural development, urging beneficiaries to utilise the vehicles judiciously.
