The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the International Standard Center for Development (ISCD), Comrade Amara Confidence, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria and in the diaspora on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, Comrade Amara Confidence described the Eid celebration as a time of deep reflection, sacrifice, and unity, urging the Muslim faithful to embody the spirit of the season by promoting peace, love, and religious tolerance across all communities.
“As our Muslim brothers and sisters commemorate Eid-el-Kabir, it is essential that we use this period to strengthen the values of compassion, generosity, and harmony among Nigerians of all faiths,” she said.
The development advocate further emphasized the critical role of interfaith unity in national development, stating that the path to sustainable peace lies in mutual respect and understanding between Nigeria’s diverse religious and ethnic groups.
Comrade Amara also used the opportunity to call on the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intensify efforts towards rolling out economic policies that are family-friendly and inclusive. She noted that many Nigerian families continue to struggle under the weight of rising living costs and economic uncertainty.
“We urge the Federal Government to prioritize economic reforms that cushion the impact of inflation and improve the quality of life for ordinary Nigerians. More social safety nets and family-centered economic programs are urgently needed,” she stressed.
Comrade Amara Confidence reaffirmed ISCD’s commitment to fostering inclusive development, civic engagement, and interreligious dialogue as part of its broader mission to build a more equitable and peaceful society.
As Muslims around the world mark this holy festival, she concluded with a prayer for peace, progress, and national unity in Nigeria.
