Presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken swipe at actress and politician, Funke Akindele.
The 2023 presidential aspirant had slammed his supporters for comparing Funke Akindele to him.
At one of his rallies in Lagos, his supporters had sang the praises of Funke Akindele and compared her to him.
Irritated by the comparison, Bola Tinubu warn them never to mention the actress’s name in his presence.
For him, it is an insult to do such.
Funke Akindele ventures into politics
Funke had confirmed the reports about her political career, which is associated with the Lagos State People Democratic Party PDP.
The mother of two shared a video on her verified social media page to confirm that she had been chosen as a running mate to
Funke who is known to shun any reports about her life formally declared her decision to accept Jandor’s call as the state’s deputy governor.
She also disclosed that she was ready to pay the price of embracing politics.
This will temporarily hold her career in the Nollywood industry.
Funke Akindele calls out Lagos government
Funke Akindele, had called out the Lagos state government over the recent flood scare.
This came after several warning signals were sent out on a predicted flood about to hit the state.
Funke Akindele tagged the Lagos state Government irresponsible for not declaring a state of emergency, especially in the riverine communities in the state.
