Abuja (Precise Post) – Former President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan has eulogised the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye on the ocassion of his 80th birthday.
Jonathan in an open letter released via his Facebook page described Pastor Adeboye as a worthy example of a believer; in faith, in doctrine and in charity who has also distinguished himself as a man of strong devotion who is steadfast in the task of reconciling men to Christ and offering hope to many.
The open letter reads:
Dear Daddy G. O,
On behalf of my family, I warmly congratulate you on your 80th birthday. You are a gift to our nation and a tremendous blessing to the global Christian Community.
Daddy G.O, as a leader of faith, you have been a worthy example of a believer; in faith, in doctrine and in charity. You have also distinguished yourself as a man of strong devotion who is steadfast in the task of reconciling men to Christ and offering hope to many.
Your humility, dedication, commitment and passion to give back to society is evident with the works of various arms of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and this has earned you a place in the annals of history.
As you celebrate this impressive milestone, it is my prayer that the Almighty God will continue to bless you with good health and grant you your heart desires.
I join your family, friends and well-wishers to wish you more fruitful and energetic years ahead.
