Abuja (Precise Post) – Suspected hoodlums in black and black attire on Saturday attacked and set ablaze the house of Imo state governor, Hope Uzodimma‘s house at his hometown in Omuma, Oru East local government area.
The attack which saw sympathizers, villagers struggled to extinguish the fire.
As of the time of filing this report, many of which was said to be official vehicles were inflame as the suspected lifeless body was lying in front of the governor’s house. Just as part of the building was also in flame.
This was revealed in an exclusive report by Vanguard Newspaper on Saturday morning.
The report confirmed the attack happened in Oru East local government area of Imo state, with at least one person feared dead.
Another source though not confirmed at the moment of this report have it that the gunmen who were said to have came through the Oguta axis of the State at midnight, killed eight yet to be identified security men at at Oguta junction before proceeding to the governor’s house at Omuma.
The source disclosed that the gunmen ripped off the governor’s gate with the aide of a rocket launcher before setting the house on fire.
