ABUJA FCT – The Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, on Saturday tendered his resignation to President Bola Tinubu, Channels reports.
The reason for his resignation is yet unknown as the time of filing this report.
Precise Post recalls that his resignation is coming four days after Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State met with the NIA DG. Uzodinma who took to his X account to inform of his meeting and discussion with the NIA DG said”
“My meeting with the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, was highly insightful. Our discussions focused on identifying key areas where our efforts can align to strengthen national security.”
