Ibadan (Precise Post) – Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has assured the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko of his government’s support to carry out her duties in the state.
Makinde gave the assurance on Friday at the Government House while receiving the Commissioner of Police and her entourage who paid him a courtesy visit.
The Governor who disclosed this via his twitter handle, used the ocassion to reiterate that the enemies are not people of any tribe or ethnic group but anyone engaged in criminal activities in the state.
The tweets read:
We received the newly appointed Commissioner of Police for Oyo State, Ngozi Onadeko and her entourage who paid us a courtesy visit, this afternoon. I welcomed them to Oyo State.
I pledged our administration’s support as they carry out their duties of maintaining law and order in our state. I restated that our enemies are not people of any tribe or ethnic group but anyone engaged in criminal activities in the state.
