….As Meeting Between Organised Labour and Leadership of National Assembly Yeilded No Positive Result

ABUJA – The Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress, (TUC) has said there is going back on strike action on Monday
This is coming as meeting between the leadership of the National Assembly and the organised labour on Sunday could not yield fruitful result.
The NLC President Comrade Joe Ajaeto said, the National Assembly appealed to them to call off the strike but they are conditions attached to it.
Senate President, Godswill Akpabio said, in the last four hours we have been appealing to the NLC and TUC that they should return to the negotiation table with the federal government.
The Speaker added we agreed with the organised labour to go back for discussion table for amicable resolution.
