Abuja ( Precise Post)  — The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has convened a high-level meeting with wholesale suppliers of petroleum products as part of efforts to strengthen stability and transparency in Nigeria’s downstream market.

This was contained in a statement released on the official X handle of NMDPRA @NMDPRA_Official on Friday.

According to the statement, the Authority Chief Executive, Engr. Saidu Mohammed, hosted the strategic engagement at the regulator’s headquarters in Abuja, bringing together key operators across the downstream value chain.

Discussions focused on critical issues shaping Nigeria’s evolving petroleum products market, including supply sufficiency, pricing transparency, regulatory compliance, and measures to sustain market stability.

Industry stakeholders at the meeting commended the Authority for its proactive and consultative approach, reaffirming their commitment to full regulatory compliance and adherence to industry best practices.

The engagement, according to NMDPRA, reflects its ongoing collaboration with operators to promote efficiency, transparency, and long-term sustainability across Nigeria’s midstream and downstream petroleum sectors.
