ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslims across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-ul-Maulud, calling for national unity, peace, and adherence to the rule of law.
In a statement marking the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), signed by Bala Musa, Director of Communication and Media, made available to Precise Post on Friday, the Director General of NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, encouraged Muslims to embrace forgiveness and live by the Prophet’s exemplary teachings, which he described as a blueprint for peaceful and upright living.
Issa-Onilu emphasized that unity remains a powerful tool in the ongoing battle against insecurity, adding that collective support for security efforts would help the country overcome violence, restore peace, and ensure long-term stability.
“The Prophet (SAW) was a symbol of unity, peace, and compassion,” he said. “We urge the faithful to draw inspiration from his life by promoting tolerance and strengthening the bonds of national unity.”
The DG also offered prayers for the progress of the nation and divine guidance for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he leads efforts toward national development.
