Abuja (Precise Post) – Mr Macaronii who was arrested yesterday by the police in connection to the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protest has been released.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome secured his release from police detention.
The Media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Pastor Reno Omokri confirmed the release via his twitter handle account.
His tweet reads:
“MIKE Ozekhome’s Chambers secures release of @mrmacaronii. He is on his way home now with his mother. Others are also being now released in tranches. It is the triumph of the rule of law. I thank Mike Ozekhome SAN and his team.
Reno Omokri had earlier announced that he had engaged the services of Chief Mike Ozekhome SAN to act for Mr Macaronii.
He informed that they were on their way to Panti Police Station and that anyone who is in contact with Debo should let him know that Mike Ozekhome is representing him in this matter.
His tweet reads:

Precise Post recalls that Reno Omokri who had condemned the arrest of the peaceful protesters, said he would arrange for free legal services to ensure their quick release from detention.
