Ogun commissioner warns staff against engaging in sharp practices

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr Olatunji Odunlami, has admonished personnel in the ministry against unethical practices, but to discharge their responsibilities diligently.

Odunlami stated this on Friday in Abeokuta during an interactive session with management and staff of the Ministry.
He tasked the personnel to uphold professionalism, hard work and dedication to duty in their daily activities.
The commissioner pledged that the present administration would continue to provide them with enabling environment to discharge their duties for the socio-economic development of the state.
“The objective of the meeting is to focus on issues concerning your work, career, profession and your welfare, to know better and avoid misinformation,’’ he said.
Earlier , the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dr Sakirudeen Salam, said that the meeting was aimed at getting personnel in all the departments together to brainstorm on enhancing service delivery.
” We have come together to brainstorm on ways to ensure optimum and quality service delivery among the staff,” he said.
Two of the workers, Mr Semiu Adeshina and Mrs Olasewa Osifodunrin, appreciated the commissioner for creating an enabling environment for personnel development and professionalism.
They pledged to discharge their responsibilities diligently.(NAN)
