PDP Reconciliation Committee meets stakeholders, officials of party in Lagos

…expresses confident that outcome of meeting will help restore unity and cohesion within the Lagos State chapter of the party

Abuja (Precise Post) – The Saraki-led Peoples Democratic Party Reconciliation Committee yesterday met with stakeholders and officials of the party in Lagos state as part of its mandate to reposition and reform the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Thereafter, the committee also held another meeting with elders of the party where several resolutions were reached.

Saraki who disclosed this in a series of tweets, expressed confident that the outcome of the meeting with the elders in the party will help to restore unity and cohesion within the Lagos State chapter of the party.

The tweets read:

As we continue to work to reposition and reform our great party, the @OfficialPDPNig, ahead of the 2023 general elections, earlier today, we were in Lagos State to consult with key stakeholders and officials of our party in the state.

After our crucial meeting with key stakeholders of the @OfficialPDPNig in Lagos State, last night, the #PDPReconciliation Committee held another meeting with elders of the party — where several resolutions were reached.

As we move forward, we are confident that the outcome of this meeting with the elders in the party will help to restore unity and cohesion within the Lagos State chapter of the @OfficialPDPNig. #PDPReconciliation
