Abuja (Precise Post) -. The Federal Government on Wednesday fired 3 Directors of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Sirika announced the sack during a meeting with the Directors in Abuja.
This may have kicked off the long anticipated restructuring of the agency as Minister also announced the merging of some of the directorates in the agency.
A source close to the meeting of the directors with Sirika in Abuja confided in our correspondent that Alhaji Adamu Abdullahi, the Director of Consumer Protection Directorate resigned from his position about a week ago, while other directors were sacked from their job.
For instance, the Directorate of Consumer Protection was merged with Directorate of Air Transport (DATR awaited ) with Oyo-Ita as Director. General Aviation merged with DAWS: Ajiboye as Director.
Capt Sasegbon and Ita-Awak were sacked from their positions.
The emergency meeting with the minister came to an end at past 1pm today.
