ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – President Bola Tinubu has commended the Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah for the laudable projects he has executed in the last one year of his administration.
The President also reiterated his administration’s commitment to completing the Eastern rail line, connecting Port Harcourt to Maiduguri, as well as supporting the development of the Anambra Basin, which is considered rich in oil and gas resources.
Tinubu made the declaration when he took to his officials X handle account to Sunday to express his experience and feelings as he ended his first official call this year to the South East.
President Tinubu who thanked the Enugu state government, the leaders, the people of Enugu, and the South East for the warm reception, said Governor Mbah’s remarkable leadership is evident in the burgeoning infrastructure, enhanced security measures, and improving access to education and healthcare by the citizens
Tinubu who discribed the state visit as a special delight, highlighted that when we work together, we can build a prosperous future for our nation.
“We are members of one family held by a single umbilical cord; hence, we must work together to develop the Nigeria we desire,” Tinubu said.
Precise Post recalls that Tinubu who was in Enugu on a state visit on Saturday commissioned the Enugu International Conference Center, 30 completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools out of 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state and 60 completed and equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres out of the 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state.
Others are, the completed multi-auditorium and multi-functional Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 completed urban roads in Enugu City, state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre, as well as 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras.
