The former Speaker of Taraba State House of Assembly Professor Joseph Albasu Kunini has congratulated the Taraba State Governor Dr Agbu Kefas on his Supreme Court Victory over the NNPP and Professor Sani Yahaha.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Kunini said that the victory has validated the election of Governor Agbu Kefas and urged the people to join hands with the governor to move the state forward.
Kunini who contested the Governorship Primaries of the PDP against Dr Agbu and came up as the First runner up, said that the time for politicking was over and it is imperative for all to join hands and work for the ultimate good of the state.
“On behalf of my family and political supporters, I want to heartily congratulate our dear Governor Dr Agbu Kefas on his well deserved Supreme Court Victory. I enjoin the political class and the entire people of the state to give the Governor maximum support to enable him tackle the myriad of problems confronting our people especially insecurity.
“It is our prayer for the. Almighty God to grant him good health and imbue him with wisdom to successfully govern the state and bring the dividends of democracy to the people.
“Let me also call on the governor to unreservedly embrace one and all who sincerely want the growth of the state and to avoid the mistakes of the past by listening only to those who want to sing his praise at all cost” the statement reads.
