Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported that 56,697 cases have been discharged after treatment and recovery from COVID-19 since the index case on 27th February 2020.

This report was released by the health agency through its twitter handle late Monday night.

According to the report, a total of 61,558 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria and 1,125 deaths recorded.

The agency further disclosed that 118 new cases of #COVID-19 were reported and they are as follows:

Lagos-51
Rivers-26
Imo-12
Osun-8
Plateau-6
FCT-5
Kaduna-4
Ogun-3
Edo-2
Niger-1

Abuja (Precise Post) – The death toll arising from COVID-19 since the index case in February now 1,115 as 163 fresh cases were recorded on Sunday in Nigeria, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control report said.

The report released via it’s twitter handle said total confirmed cases have risen to 60,266 out of which 51,735 have been treated and discharged from various isolation and treatment facilities across the country.

According to the report, infection case of Lagos State recorded an upsurge to the tune of 113 to come top on the table followed by Kaduna state with 21 cases.

The remaining 29 cases were recorded from ten states including the FCT as follows:
Osun-8; Ondo and Oyo-5 each; Ogun-3; Bayelsa and Taraba-2 each; Edo, FCT,
Katsina and
Plateau-1 each.

Abuja (Precise Post) – The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria have risen to 60,103 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control reported 111 new infections on Saturday.

The report released via NCDC twitter handle said the new infections were recorded from eleven states.

Plateau state recorded the highest with 32 infections followed by Lagos with
Lagos-23 cases.

Others are ; FCT-15; Osun-11; Ogun-9;
Oyo-6; Imo-4; Bauchi, Kaduna and Yobe-3 each while Rivers recorded 2 cases.

The total confirmed cases so far treated and discharged are 51,711 with 1,115 deaths recorded since the index case on February 27 2020.

Abuja (Precise Post) – The latest COVID-19 update released by the Centre for Disease Control says the novel virus curve has flatten as only 58 new cases were recorded on Sunday in Nigeria.

The NCDC in its twitter handle said the 58 cases were reported as follows; Plateau-18; Lagos-15; Katsina-10 and
Ogun-5.

Others are: Kaduna-4; Edo-3 with Ekiti
FCT and Ondo recording one case each.

The report added that the total confirmed cases in Nigeria have risen now to 59,345 while 50,768 have been discharged.

The NCDC added that 1,113 deaths have been recorded in Nigeria.

Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Saturday confirmed that the 160 new cases of COVID-19 recorded brought the total patients in its treatment centers and facilities to 7,456 patients.

Precise Post recalls that the health agency had via it’s twitter handle account reported that out of 59,287 total confirmed cases, 50,718 patients have been treated and discharged while 1,113 deaths were also recorded.

This implies that 7,456 patients (59,287-50,718 – 1,113) are now in the kitty of the NCDC undergoing treatment in its various isolation centres across Nigeria.

According to the report, the 160 new cases were recorded from 13 states and FCT as follows:

Rivers-42; Lagos-32; Plateau-21; FCT-18 and Kaduna-14.

Others are; Ogun-11; Katsina-10; Kwara, Ondo and Imo-3 each while Anambra, Abia and Oyo recorded 1 each.
