ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Shehu Usman Osidi, has reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to the welfare of its workforce, with a focus on supporting staff as they prepare for life after service.

According to the statement released on the official X account of FMBN on Monday ( today) with photos, Osidi made this known on Thursday, September 18, 2025, during a visit to FMBN staff participating in a pre-retirement and pension management training workshop in Abuja.
The training was organized by FMBN in collaboration with Pico Bello Projekte Ltd.

Addressing the participants, Osidi emphasized the importance of early and adequate planning for retirement, highlighting it as a key aspect of the Bank’s staff welfare strategy. He noted that preparing employees for a financially secure and fulfilling post-service life reflects FMBN’s broader vision of holistic staff support.

The workshop aimed to equip employees with critical knowledge and tools for sound financial planning, effective pension administration, and a smooth transition into retirement. It is part of ongoing efforts by the Bank to ensure that staff are well-prepared for the future, both professionally and personally.
