Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has revealed that the Governor of Taraba State has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) after being handed over to the party’s National Chairman by President Bola Tinubu.
Fayose made the disclosure during an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday, where he also hinted that the Governor of Plateau State would soon dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to him, another sitting governor is expected to follow shortly after the Plateau governor’s defection.
This development follows high-profile defections by sitting governors from the PDP to the APC.
