Tunji- Ojo inspects e-Gates installation at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja (Photos)

ABUJA – Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo on Friday inspected the ongoing installation of electronic gates (e-Gates) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Tunji-Ojo who stated that the electronic gates project is about 90 percent completed, hinted that advanced border management system will be installed in other international airports in the country including Lagos, Kano, Enugu, and Port Harcourt airports.

The minister who disclosed this in a statement released on his official X account @BTOofficial, further reiterated that that renewed hope government of President Bola Tinubu will continue to invest into the enhancement of national security through the deployment of technology in line with global best practices.

The statement reads in full:

Today, I inspected the ongoing installation of electronic gates (e-Gates) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, which is about 90% to completion.

This advanced border management system, which will be installed in our other international airports including Lagos, Kano, Enugu, and Port Harcourt airports, further reaffirms our commitment to giving Nigerians a sweet experience.

The #RenewedHope government of President @officialABAT (GCFR) will continue to invest into the enhancement of national security through the deployment of technology in line with global best practices.
