OWERRI (PRECISE POST) – Imo State Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Hope Uzodimma, has charged the newly inaugurated APC Imo State Campaign Council to mobilise voters across every ward, community and polling unit ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Uzodimma gave the charge on Tuesday while inaugurating the campaign council at the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Convention Centre (EIICC) in Owerri, stressing that the council’s primary mandate is to secure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the state.
The governor urged members of the council to extend the party’s operations to the grassroots, saying victory in 2027 would require effective mobilisation and a strong presence at every polling unit across the state.
He said the APC had demonstrated its capacity for impactful governance at both the national and sub-national levels, adding that the party remained committed to socio-economic transformation.
According to him, the party will continue to strengthen its political structures across Imo State while supporting President Tinubu’s national development agenda.
Uzodimma said the campaign council must work towards securing what he described as a “complete electoral victory” for the APC in the presidential, National Assembly and State Assembly elections in 2027.
He described the APC as a formidable political brand committed to delivering development to Nigerians, urging party members and supporters to remain united and focused on the task ahead.
The governor further charged the council to consolidate the party’s structures and deepen its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.
He expressed confidence that with effective coordination and sustained mobilisation, the APC would record decisive victories across Imo State in the 2027 general elections.
