Abuja (Precise Post) – The Director General of the World Trade Organisation, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has commended the UN Women Leaders, 124 Ambassadors in Geneva and others for standing against the racist & sexist remarks against her.
She gave the commendation via her twitter handle in reaction to the apology from the newspapers.
Ch Media Aargauer Zeitung Newspapers has carried out a headline that sparked angry reactions from its readers.
Okonjo-Iweala who highlighted the need to call out this behavior when it happens, stressed that this is the stereotypes women face when they take on leadership positions.
“This is precisely what my book Women & Leadership coauthored with @JuliaGillard talks about”, she stated.
