#Zimbabwe Poll: Jonathan wishes Zimbabweans peaceful and successful elections

As Zimbabweans file out today to vote in their 2023 Harmonised Elections, former Nigerian President and the leader of Joint African Union (AU), Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Dr Goodluck Jonathan is wishing the people of the Republic of Zimbabwe peaceful and successful elections.

In a statement released via his Facebook page few on Wednesday, Jonathan said they were out early this morning to observe the opening procedures and early voting at Louis Mountbatten Primary School, Belvedere Primary School C and Belvedere Technical Teachers College C, all in Harare.

The statement reads;

As Zimbabweans vote today in the 2023 Harmonised Elections we, members of the Joint African Union/COMESA EOM, were out early this morning to observe the opening procedures and early voting at Louis Mountbatten Primary School, Belvedere Primary School C and Belvedere Technical Teachers College C, all in Harare.

I wish the people of the Republic of Zimbabwe peaceful and successful elections. GEJ

Recall that Jonathan and his election observers arrived Harare on Monday ahead of the election.

Upon their arrival, Jonathan said they were looking forward to a fulfilling experience.
