ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Nelson Ogbu, has officially obtained his nomination form to contest for the Ado State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ogbu picked up the nomination form at the ADC State Secretariat in Makurdi, in compliance with the party’s guidelines and requirements for aspirants seeking elective positions.
The exercise drew party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members of the party from Ado Local Government Area, who gathered to show solidarity and support for his ambition.
Speaking shortly after obtaining the form, Ogbu expressed gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, and the ADC executive committee in Ado Local Government Area for the confidence and encouragement extended to him.
He stated that his decision to contest was inspired by a desire to provide effective representation and grassroots-driven leadership for the people of the constituency.
According to him, his political aspiration is anchored on the principles of quality service delivery, inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, and people-oriented representation.
Ogbu further assured supporters of his commitment to sustained engagement with constituents as preparations for the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum.
“God on our side,” he declared.
