ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The Edo South Senatorial District candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, has congratulated President-elect Bola Tinubu following his emergence as the APC presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Ogbeide-Ihama described Tinubu as an “iroko tree that provides shade for all,” praising his political influence and leadership within the ruling party.
Tinubu emerged victorious at the keenly contested APC presidential primary held at Eagle Square, Abuja, after securing the highest number of votes from party delegates.
Reacting to the outcome, Ogbeide-Ihama said Tinubu’s victory did not come as a surprise, describing him as the “arrowhead of politics in Nigeria” and one of the founding forces behind the APC.
According to him, the president’s emergence was a reward for years of hard work, political dedication and strategic leadership, adding that the overwhelming support he received from delegates reflected his broad acceptance across the country.
The Edo South APC flag bearer further portrayed Tinubu as a seasoned political figure who manages his affairs without rancour while accommodating people from different political backgrounds.
He noted that Tinubu’s leadership style and political strength had continued to earn him admiration, including from his opponents.
“I hail you, Your Excellency, as you have proven once again that you can take Nigeria to the next level,” Ogbeide-Ihama stated.
