Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, has extended heartfelt felicitations to Nigerians on the country’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.
In his message, Araraume reflected on Nigeria’s journey since gaining independence, acknowledging the nation’s progress and ongoing challenges. “Despite being a work in progress, I firmly believe all will be well with Nigeria,” he emphasized.
Araraume commended successive administrations for their nation-building efforts and praised President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to governance. “The current administration is sharply focused, tackling inherited problems head-on,” he noted.
Senator Araraume also urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and patient as President Bola Tinubu has made some promising commitments in his national broadcast this morning and has vowed to alleviate the country’s suffering by reducing the cost of living and food prices, which is a significant step towards improving the lives of Nigerians.
Additionally, he said that the President’s announcement of a national youth conference aimed at tackling the various challenges facing young people in Nigeria was a step in the right direction, and “an initiative that qualifies as a beacon of hope for the youth,” which Senator Araraume himself said he was eagerly awaiting its implementation.
Senator Araraume urged Nigerians to exercise patience and support the administration’s progressive policies moving forward.
He added that the building of a progressive nation was not the sole responsibility of the government at the centre, hence the need for a strong collaborative effort between the sub national governments and the central administration in the area of the president’s reform initiative and renewed Hope agenda, to deliver hope to the people in real time.
This, he said, would strengthen our sense of optimism for a brighter future in Nigeria.
