Abuja (Precise Post) – Lagos State, the epicentre of the COVID-19 infection in Nigeria recorded additional 199 infections on Sunday as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed 544 new cases in Nigeria.
Following the new confirmed cases, the total infections recorded in the country now is 28,711 while a total of 11,665 patients have been treated and discharged since the novel virus was first reported in Nigeria late February.
The health agency also reported that
645 lives have been lost to the dreaded virus.
