JERUSALEM (PRECISE POST) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has paid tribute to American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, describing him as a “lion-hearted friend of Israel” and a fearless champion of free speech, following Kirk’s tragic death.
In a heartfelt statement released on his X handle late Thursday, Netanyahu expressed deep sorrow over the loss, revealing that he had spoken to Kirk just two weeks prior and had personally invited him to visit Israel, a trip that will now never take place.
“Charlie Kirk was murdered for speaking truth and defending freedom,” Netanyahu said. “A lion-hearted friend of Israel, he fought the lies and stood tall for Judeo-Christian civilization.”
The Prime Minister further described Kirk as an “incredible human being” whose legacy will endure through his unwavering advocacy for America’s founding principles and the Western values shared between the U.S. and Israel.
“His boundless pride in America and his valiant belief in free speech will leave a lasting impact,” Netanyahu added.
