Benin City (Precise Post) – Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC) in September 19 Edo election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has expressed his condolences to the families of the two Policemen who lost their lives in the auto crash involving the convoy of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Ize-Iyamu who took to his Twitter handle @PastorIzeIyamu to send his condolences, also announced that the party has called off all campaign events scheduled for today to join efforts with Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to ensure the best care for injured persons.
He disclosed this in series of tweets thus:
“I wish to send my deepest sympathies to families, friends, and all who knew the two exceptional Policemen we lost today in the tragic & disturbing crash involving the convoy of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole traveling with other leaders to a campaign event in Usen, Ovia South West LGA.
“We have since called off all campaign events scheduled for today and joined efforts with Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to ensure the best care for injured persons.
“The circumstances of the crash were indeed curious and have left us deeply concerned, as the truck responsible for the crash, according to witness accounts of those in the convoy and other road users, appeared to have deliberately rammed into the convoy in what could reasonably be interpreted to mean an attempt on the life of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
“While awaiting the conclusion of the investigation of the Police in response to our petition, I urge our party followers across the State to remain calm and alert. May God rest the dead and grant the injured a quick and full recovery, amen.
Precise Post recalls that the convoy of the former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole was involved in accident as he traveling with other party leaders to a campaign event in Usen, Ovia South West LGA.
