Leave Nigeria out of your fight against Israel – Fani-Kayode to Erdoghen

Abuja (Precise Post) – Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has replied President Erdoghen of Turkey, telling him to leave Nigeria out of his fight against Israel.

According to Fani-Kayode, President Erdoghen of Turkey should leave Nigeria out of his jihad against Israel and his attempt to teach Israel a lesson.

He therefore advised President Buhari to be wise not to condemn Israel or join in any reckless adventure against the Jewish state otherwise a terrible price will be paid.

Precise Post recalls that the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he believes Muhammadu Buhari would stand with Palestine in teaching Israel a lesson.

On Friday, Erdogan had a conversation with Buhari by phone, asking that Nigeria, as a member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, stand with Palestine — another member of the organisation.

According to the former minister, “It is an article of faith for every true Christian to stand with Israel. There are over 100 million Christians in this country who love and rever Israel. We pray for her every day and bless her. If we are forced to choose between the Arabs and the Jews we would choose the Jews.”

He continued: “Israel can and will NEVER be defeated. If provoked she will bring all her enemies to their knees. We have enough problems of our own. Taking on the Jews would be an exercise in futility, would divide our country and would push us closer to greater conflict and possibly a civil war. “

He therefore reminded of what happened in Lebanon in the 1980’s and 1990’s and said God forbid it should happen here. A word is enough for the wise, Fani-Kayode added.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria. Exchanging Eid al-Fitr greetings, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional developments,” the Turkish Presidency tweeted on Friday.

“Drawing attention to Turkey’s efforts exerted in order for the international community to teach the necessary lesson to unlawful, unjust and unscrupulous Israel due to its attacks against Palestine, President Erdogan voiced his belief that Nigeria would show solidarity with the Palestinians in this rightful cause.”
