Abuja (Precise Post) – The latest COVID-19 report released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has it that 1,145 new cases were confirmed on Thursday. This it said, has brought the total confirmed cases to 76, 207.
The figure which is the highest of its kind since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country in February 27, was recorded from 24 states including the FCT.
The health agency reported that Lagos State – the epicentre of the novel virus infection recorded 459 cases while FCT, Kaduna and Plateau recorded 145, 138 and 80 respectively.
Others are: Katsina-70, Gombe-52, Niger-31,
Kano-23, Bayelsa-21, Bauchi and Ondo-18 each,
